Dr. Kiran Lakkireddy, MD, DM (Cardiology – JIPMER), FSCAI, FAPSIC, is a highly accomplished Senior Interventional Cardiologist with extensive expertise in complex coronary and advanced structural heart interventions. With strong academic training from premier institutions, international fellowships, and vast procedural experience, he is dedicated to delivering world-class, evidence-based, and patient-centered cardiac care. His clinical focus is on treating complex and high-risk cardiac conditions using the latest minimally invasive technologies, ensuring safer procedures, faster recovery, and superior long-term outcomes.
He also has extensive expertise in advanced structural heart interventions. His experience includes Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BMV), device closure of congenital heart defects such as ASD and PDA, pacemaker and ICD implantation, and complex valvular interventions. He is experienced in cutting-edge transcatheter valve therapies including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI/TAVR), MitraClip for mitral regurgitation, TriClip and transcatheter tricuspid valve interventions, and other emerging structural heart procedures. His expertise extends to peripheral vascular interventions, including carotid, subclavian, renal, and lower limb angioplasty and stenting.
Dr. Kiran has received several prestigious recognitions and academic honors throughout his career. He has been awarded international fellowships (FSCAI and FAPSIC) in recognition of his clinical expertise and contributions to interventional cardiology. He has presented numerous complex cases at major national and international cardiology conferences including India Live, NIC, CTO conferences, and EuroPCR. He has also received academic awards and recognition for excellence in complex coronary interventions and clinical cardiology.
